Question about the EK L240 kit

Hi I was wonder if anyone knows if its ok to use distilled water and kill coil with kit? Would just like to keep it simple since this will be my first foray in custom water cooling.

Here the link to the kit:

Yes you can. But why would you? We enclose a proven coolant concentrate with it.

Not to crazy about dyes yet plus its blue and would prefer red mix in the kit. Planning on using red tubing instead.

It's all good, just keep in mind to use plasticizer-free tubing. Primochill LRT Advanced is the only option I recommend.

That is what I'm going for. Another thing I did see a thread on here about a user with this kit and was saying his fittings corroded and I think he was using a silver coil but not sure if it was something else.

To add one last question if I did plan on using dyes would the mayhem pastel concentrate with distilled water be fine for this kit I would probably be a little lazy with the maintenance cleaning like 9 to 12 months would I get gunk build up.
