win 7 - network easy transfer - where do the files end up?

I transferred a avi (10gb) file from my current pc to my other pc via easy transfer over a wired home network. However when I enter some of the keywords of the file into the search box on the other pc, nothing comes up. It looks like its nowhere to be found on that pc.

The origin of the avi file was my :z data drive on my current computer. My other computer doesn't have a z drive. Could this have caused it? Any idea how I can find the file or transfer it again the right way?

Grab one of these and see if you can find it. A 10gig avi file should stand out pretty clearly. http://www.howtogeek.com/113012/10-best-free-tools-to-analyze-hard-drive-space-on-your-windows-pc/

If both computers have Windows 7 or 8, you should be able to use Homegroup to access files on either computer; add both computers to the homegroup and add the location of the file to the shared folders. Or share the file directly over the network - I find this method is much more reliable than Homegroup.
