I have read both of those articles completely, I ordered it and I hope to god it doesn't come DOA because I don't think I could get another one. Hasty? yes. Worth it? Probably. The only real downside I can see with this power supply is if it arrives DOA I am screwed because I ordered it for a system I am putting together in a month or so, If it is DOA it will be far too late (most likely) to RMA. I encourage others who need a power supply like this to do the same as it looks great for the price. I will post how it all goes when it happens and I hope the best for everybody else. Thanks!

This power supply has a 5 year warranty. If the product arrives DOA you can get it replaced by contacting our customer service here:

Thanks, Good to know, I assumed the warranty was gone because of it being dropped soon but no I cannot really see any downsides. Thanks!

Discontinued usually means that for a warranty replacement, they'll send you the analogous item in their current product stack: some kind of mid-high end 1000W or similar.

Sometimes this means you get something worse, but usually it's better... in any case, generally usable.

Different then what I thought when I saw what the Cooler Master rep wrote but I feel better about that, in any case, I am much happier then when I thought I could not RMA.
