Best 939 CPU Cooler

Thread Starter
I just setup my new system and I am disappointed with the stock cooling from AMD.

Any suggestions as what kind of CPU cooler I should get?

I am running a AMD Dual-core 4600+ 2.4ghz

Thanks,

Ken

im gonna be different cause i know everyone will say the big typhoon so i vote for the zalman cnps9500 or the cnps9700 the big typhoon is a great coller but only once you lap it and drop a new fan on where as the zalman is straight drop on and away you go

cnps9700 (not 9500) beats the BT easily. A lapped BT with an upgraded fan is about the same or a LITTLE better, but MUCH louder

A Cooler you guys always forget about is the THERMALRIGHT SI-120.

It will match all the coolers above IMO....100 Max load on both cores everything maxed out stupid it never goes over 35c, Of course the thermalright when paired with a good fan does wonders.

If you have any questions just ask

I would have to go with the Arctic Cooling Freezer Pro 64, when I had one it gave me cool solid temps on an x2 4400, 19°C idle and 28°C load, for the small price you pay it gives amazing temps

Well its all up to your preference on this really. However the Thermalright is another Option that doest get talked about much and is a very good cooler....Would do well with your Chip also.

Tuniq Tower is currently the best air cooler on the market if you can get hold of it. I haven't heard much about the one enterprise said but because enterprise did say it then I am sure it is good.
