As I said, I'm not sure how your bios works but your ram speed is directly linked to your FSB and I think that when you set the speed to 667, this would only be 667 with the FSB @ 200.
With FSB @ 250, which is a 25% increase from stock, you should see a 25% increase on ram speed.
Setting the ram speed in your bios simply changes the ram multiplier.

Some boards update to show the actual ram speed with the FSB change, however from the experience you have described, I think that maybe yours doesn't.

Yes I am aware of the memory frequency increases when upping the FSB.
As you can tell, I cant overclock via multiplier because it is locked at x13 as it should be. x4 910...

Currently hovering around an unstable 3.5 GHz....
Sometimes I will boot and login, sometimes it will post and bsod at windows logo.
with the error "code" 0x000000a
