How much sudden Power Outage will affect the health of an SSD ?

Thread Starter
This is on behalf of one of my friend living in Asia where load shedding/sudden power outage is high (3-4 times a day during summer)
will it have bad effects on SSD like it being bricked or data corruption ?

SSD capacitors stay charged long enough to flush their caching in the case of a power outage. I would suggest leaving Windows write-cache buffer flushing on just in case (it's on by default).

Really? Is that to protect from the outage itself or a potential overload?
