Intel integrated graphics..

Thread Starter
Looking to build a small, but powerful linux machine.

My questions is: Are the new Haswell HD 4600 graphics supported natively in the latest ubuntu? Or is it any easy fix?

Thanks,
Zizou

Intel graphics driver is built into the kernel of most distributions.

Just want to make sure, I'm planning on running a 1080p monitor and may play some of the source engine games like TF2 and the such.

Wanted to make sure nothing would be gimped out of the box.

If you are going with Ubuntu, use the xorg-edgers ppa and install the daily kernel builds from the mainline ppa. That will give you the most "up to date" drivers.
