Headset / Headphones +mic + sound card for awesome gaming in fps(bf 4)

Hello

I am wondering what Headset / Headphones +mic i should buy.
I am not pro gamer, just wanna have fun and really enjoy game. Atm i am using bad speakers/ bad earphones for gaming and i want to buy something rly good. I have read a lot of threads about headphones, headsets etc and i have some ideas in my head but i am not sure about it... I am playing only on pc, mby i'll get new ps4 but i am not sure about it... I have integrated sound card so i think i should buy sound card for better sound experience ( ? ). I am playing in quiet room, there is no ppl shouting around me. 99 % of games i am on team speak/skype/vent and talking with friends while gaming. That's my computer :
Intel® Core™ i5-3550 CPU @ 3.30GHz
ATI radeon hd 7870
8gb ram
asus p8b75m

And let's talk about money biggrin.gif I can go like 250 eu on = sound card + ( headphones+mic or headset) . And my idea is :
Sennheiser PC 360
Sennheiser PC 363d (is it worth money ? )
Razer Tiamat 7.1
Steelseries siberia v2- the last one i know ... "4 gamers" biggrin.gif but i am not the one who is looking only on that but my friends saying a lot of good things about it but i would go propably for sennheisers...

About sound card i have no idea what to pick

Here is last thing is good to keep in mind- I have a chance to get any sennheisers cheaper like 40 eu or something, that's always some money so...

The last question is - is it worth to spend those money? It'll make that huge differences ? I can even spend 300 eu but i really have to know is it worth it. Would be nice to stick with those money cuz g2 buy new computer mouse also biggrin.gif I know that pc 360 has rly good quality etc... and those "7.1" is virtual for razer and pc 363d , i think razer is overpiced but... that's why i am asking for help guys smile.gif

Thanks for any help

My recommendation:
DT-990 Pro 250ohm or Superlux HD330+DT770 velours or HD668B+AKG velours or HD681Evo (free velours included).
Modmic, Samson Go Mic or Zalman clip-on.
Sound Blaster Z.

And if you don't understand it yet, the Sound Blaster Z gives better virtual 7.1 than any of those headsets you mentioned.

And FYI: HD681 > Siberia V2

OCN's Most Recommended Audio Products

I own Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro 80ohm, MMX2, Superlux HD681Evo (and Tritton PC510hda that I hate from the bottom of my heart).
If you haven't heard anything about Beyerdynamic/etc. it just means the same as thinking that Logitech makes the best PC speakers ever (or Beats are the best headphones ever).

Audio Technica, AKG, Beyerdynamic and Sennheiser (and few others) are the biggest names in (hifi) headphone market.
Superlux is well known for making cheap hifi (30€ headphones sound like 100€ headphones) . And Thomann.de is one of the best shops in the world to find their products (HD681Evo in USA= 70$, HD681Evo in Thomann=~37$ with free velour pads and ~20% tax included).
But build quality doesn't really compare to Beyerdynamic for example, although HD330/660 are pretty close.

And why I didn't pick Sennheiser is because I think the newer HD5xx models have too much plastic tongue.gif

And DT770 is basically the exact same headphone as these, without a mic. The price difference just so happens to be 150€... Pretty pricy mic (same with all the other headsets).

And as a final note: Beyerdynamic headphones are made in Germany, not in China like all the "gamer" headsets. Although the cheaper Beyer models are made in China rolleyes.gif

hmm ok ii'll read that article that you've linked me and..what's the best option, in your opinion? if you would compare DT-990 Pro 250ohm or Superlux HD330 or any other headphones that you linked what option you would go ? Because it's over 100 € betweend those dt 990 and hd 330 xD. What do you think about sennheiser hd 360 ? can you compare it ? And your personal info... you're gaming on Beyerdynamic DT770 right ? How is it biggrin.gif ? I really want to spend my money for good reasons : P
And remember i can get Sennheiser cheaper but... only keep in mind , don't make it main reason : D
I see that you know what are you talking about smile.gif

With HD330+dt770 velours the comfort would be almost identical. As for the sound DT990 would be better, but to quote an ocn member who bought the hd330 this week:
"The DT 770 has more resolution and is a more clear. The HD 330 sounds more dull (only a bit) but it just dont feels like 27 euro vs 150 euro. More like 100 vs 150. Besides from that they sound pretty equal. The bass is different. The HD 330 sounds more fun in some songs to me but its not better or worse, just different.
Build quality is better from the dt 770 but the HD 330 is decent."

Pc360 is good for gaming, no questions about it. But dt990 is teeny tiny bit worse for gaming but better for everything else (movies/music/etc).

Ok i will see sennheisers today and will write you for what price i can get it. If i take PC 360 you recommend also sound blaster z? Thinking rly still about dt990 and superluxes

Keep in mind that when talking about if headphone is good or bad for gaming, we are talking mostly about bass and soundstage. Best gaming headphones are like ad700 which have no bass/extremely light bass.

Would really suggest steering away from things like the PC 360, IMO hugely overpriced and not worth it at all. ModMic or Zalman clip on paired with any good headphones should do the trick.

Ok but the headphones that you have linked me before are good for gaming, music and movies ye? It’s true i don't want it for extreme gaming cuz i want to to other things also but its the main reason that i am buying it. I want to hear and have no problem with positioning and really enjoy game :-D but ofc i don't want it ONLY for gaming. Have you tried yours on Bf 3? How is it?
