that is plain stupid of your part... that like asking samsung to give u a 40% boost every year... which is not going to happend... i paid 340dollars for my HD7950 and if AMD can provided me a videocard arround 500 able to match a GTX780, maybe i will not pay it but someone else will... remember that u can still sell you current GPU and put the difference and get alone with it that way... or just get another HD7950 for $210 and CF it... there is no reason for you to respond like that...

I think i would pay $599 if it offers 25%~ over a 7970.

Considering making the jump from a Titan to R 290X.

The raw performance through leaked benches and raw hardware specs of the card itself seems to leave a bit to be desired...

But if Mantle can deliver "titan ridiculing performance" through optimizations, then I'm definitely on board.

Unless you're really unsatisfied with the Titan already....I really don't see it wise to switch to the R9-290X over small marginal gains if it turns out to be, even with Mantle performance gains.... 20nm is just 6-8 months away, I'd say its more rewarding to keep your Titan until its time to retire it. At least I would thumb.gif
