If you can think logically I don't have my set up in front of me as I wrote in posts. And secondly, why should I prove smth. to you, I don't own you anything as far as I can remember. Oh, and thanks for taking my advice about eyefinity set up. thumb.gif

Edit: I sold my 7990, not sure why u included it in price pool. I think reading comprehension wont hurt, I mean it is never too late...

Well if mom and pop get your hardware, ask for a decent camera for pics. Other wise you can talk, and that's pretty much all you've done, all you want wink.gif

If had a few cards myself but progressively have been switching as the hardware changes:

4870x2 + 4870
470 x3
480 x4
6950-70 x3
6970 Lightning x3
560 Ti 448 x3
GTX 590 x2
GTX 580 3gb x4
7970 x2
670 4gb
690 x2
Titans x2
780 x3 (now).

I'll leave you alone now so you can continue to smack talk nonsense here in this thread so I can amuse myself (a little bit). Good day young sir wave2.gif

You see, this is the most interesting part. It's like you're buying a plot and don't know in what part of the country or city it is located lol. On a serious note, the pre-order stated date is 3 Oct, so it's still plenty of time and you can expect anything during this time.

Must suck for those who preorder if that special edition is just a regular 290X with some stickers on top.
Just what EVGA did with their GTX 580 Call of Duty editions. tongue.gif

Haha, says the man with an i5 too tongue.gif

I only game, I don't care for benchmarks. Besides, this cpu clocks very nicely. Its already better then my old 2700k. The logic comes in saving money while not worrying about having more e-peen with the baddest cpu around.

Btw, my old 2700k did the exact same fps in Metro LL compared to a 3930k in Surround wink.gif You don't need the biggest cpu to game wink.gif

Sure there is. It's called being a consumer who is utterly fed up with putting up with corporate malfeasance and greed from every angle, including in the tech industry and gaming.

I'm not sure if anyone told ATI and Nvidia, but 5-600 dollars is a LOT of money. (Even if you can sell your prior card to recoup some of it, that is not relevant to their retail pricing).

If the card doesn't even give 25% better framerates, you're getting (in Arma 3 for instance), maybe 12-13 additional frames in your game for 500 dollars! That's absurd. Especially when you read about Nvidia and AMD price fixing (in another thread on here).

It's about value for what you get. A GPU does one thing basically. It renders games. The price to value ratio is horribly skewed with GPUs. I'll pay 300 for an intel CPU and not be terribly upset about it because that benefits me in multiple areas of computing. Same for my SSD, same for my monitor (Korean 1440p vs. 10 more fps?).

All I get from a GPU is a few more frames per second. And for 5-600 dollars, it better be more than a few (which to me means 35-40% or more performance) or to me it is simply not worth it.

Expensive GPUs (7800 GTX, X1900XTX) have been the ONLY top-quality computing part I've ever regretted buying. I'm even very happy with my K70 keyboard, because at least it delivers a lot of quality for the price.

But paying 500 dollars for 10-15 more frames and essentially nothing else? Not a good value and I resent how much they try to charge, and I don't fully believe that it's a fair price for the cost to them to make it, especially when we're getting essentially refreshes two years later.

Why so defensive? i don't say your cpu is bad. just your configuration is not balanced, and i dont like or understand the logic behind stuff like that. You have over 2K dollars in gpus, and you cheap out on cpu, 39xx is the correct cpu for that configuration, i would rather have 2x sli then 3x sli with cpu which holding me back, doesen't matter if its 10% its still does, like you can see in Crysis 3 benchmarks which is game i'm sure you play.

Also i got single gpu, and i dont' play games lately why would i need i7? your just getting way much defensive about this. Also e-peen? you got 780 3x sli, no logic again to talk about it.

Yes you don't need the biggest cpu to game for single gpu, for 3x you NEED.

If you say this, it definitely drives a conclusion of what you are as a person . If your parents did buy all of these for ya, great! Other than that, keep your own reference to yourself (aka, not everyone`s parents buy their children expensive toys).
