unless you have a 1st or second generation SSD you are wasting time worrying about writes.

Yes if you are running the game off an SSD. See Sean's guides: http://www.overclock.net/t/1227308/storage-essentials-thread

Already tried the 10gb option, game still crashed. This could have been a different crash, being that the game is still buggy, so I guess I'll have to game with it a bit more before making a final judgement call.

Yeah, try again. All I can tell you is that the game likes page file, therefore a logical approach is to increase the size. However, you can try to force the game to use RAM only to fetch data from by disabling the page file. I have it disabled and BF4 does not crash 95% of the time.

Wow! That's a lot of usage, but on the wrong piece of hardware!
Did you have Page File disabled?
I'd love to have a discussion with the programmers of BF4. I'm sure they can program a LOT better than I can, but still, I have valid technical questions about their game.

Nah. I always use pagefile because i use some apps that use a lot of pagefile. I had it like 2 gb but i was getting stutter on bf4 after like 2 rounds. Then i increased it at 12 gb on my hdd and i fixed the low memory crash and the stutter

@ryboto
Read the above quote. That's why I suggested increasing the page file space. Might work for you as well. If not, disable it completely. (That worked absolutely fine for me).

Most will disable it as that always seems to work best

remember alot of programs require page filing to function properly so pay attention it could be bad running it off I know FRAPS takes a huge performance hit when recording with page file off even when using a SSD / fast large amount of ram say having 16gb worth of 1866mhz of ram 4x 4gb sticks with paging file off it taxxes ram and FPS / CPU / GPU alot harder meening lowwer FPS while recording by a pretty drastic amount.
