Getting really strange behavior with this game. Now I can barely play for 5 seconds. Game loads, I move around, it freezes, goes to black screen, then white screen. I kill the process for the game, but now my video card is stuck at full core clock, but min memory clock. Tried to launch some other games, nothing seems to work. I was just getting to like BF4 and now I'm going to have to avoid.

As for the amount of virtual memory BF4 used, it was nearly 7gb for that brief time I had the game running, and the physical memory in use was over 4gb.

Has your comp been woken from sleep as I posted the same issue a few pages back, you need to restart your pc and the problem will be fixed until you put the pc to sleep again. Games should run without crash (maybe not BF4 tho lol) Bug in 14.1 drivers I think as 13.12 didn't have the issue.

Ive recorded 2560X1440P with fraps without page filing on a separate SSD with 60FPS no problems tho :/

yes but it will use more hardware resources like Vram and CPU clocks along with alot more GPU so it can drastically affect quality of recording and playable FPS while recording hince the suggestion to leave page file on with around 4gb or more set for this me I run it on all my hardrives in my machine I have around 32gb worth of page file total and it only uses a fraction of my main system drive because windows will prioritize the paging to secondary drives before main drive automatically.

My main system has 4x 1tb drives in it by the way western digital cav black 64mb cache sata III drives and raid0 128kb stripe 2x 256GB OCZ Vector SSD drives as main OS drive all the drives run 6-8gb average paging file including the raid0 array .

I have the 4x 1tb drives for video recording of gameplay and video rendering and such at full 1080p HD lossless 60 FPS recording alot of hardrive space is eaten fast the 4 drives I know are overkill but I planned to go raid0 with 2 each to do recording and rendering for the added bandwidth but never have yet dont do alot of recording anymore.

Last time I recorded full hd 1080p lossles 60FPS was right after Guild Wars 2 came out and me and the other guildies were rocking W v W v W hardcore I miss the old days of Zombieland those were fun times but back to point to do so in 1hr or so I used 780+Gb of hardrive recording at 60 FPS HD 1080p lossless.

Well all im going to say is using a recording program ( specifically action ) while still recording my fps is around 120 maxed 2560X1440P with no page file. Im just recording to one SSD ( intel 530 series ) so upon my testing page files arent needed for recordings if you have the system for it. As well as, whether or not ur using a page file dosnt directly impact the quality of the video as long as the fps isnt compromised. In other terms if a person is able to record at 1080P with no page and still get 60FPS solid then the quality will be the same as one that records with a page file while getting 60FPS at the same settings.

turn lossless RGB on and see how that turns out full size at 60 FPS recording with FRAPS 1080p with these settings requires 300MBS writes and 30 minutes of recording is 250gb-350gb 1440p is quite a bit more write speed needed and even more space eaten faster 2560 x 1600 requires 468mbps writes speed for drive so 1440p would be like 375+mbps or so required with 60 FPS HD 1440p full size and lossless RGB. You must have bigger than a 512gb SSD your recording to to run lossless RGB 60 FPS HD 1440p at full size if going to record more than around 15 minutes of gameplay. Even with a 512Gb 530 doesnt it have the around half to 3/4 full slow down issue that would make it be slowwer than required speed to record at these settings so would need a raid0 array of 512Gb 530's to do so.

I want to point out the Intel 530 write speed is Sustained Sequential Write: up to 490MB/s and once it hits somewhere between 50% and 70% full it drops to around 350MB/s or less so that would put you in the unable to record at HD 1440p lossless RGB 60FPS full size once you got over 300Gb since largest 530 is 480gb that meens at those settings you get between 5-10 minutes of recording before the drive craps out and video your recording becomes a stutterfest. Take a look for yourself at the reads writes and hardrive sizes and yes that drive slows down at around 50%-70% full http://www.storagereview.com/intel_ssd_530_review

here is 1 video I recorded with lossless RGB HD 1080p 60FPS full size in Guild Wars 2 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L-7ASuz-fRs youtube cut my video quality bad so badly it isnt even funny also that was from before culling was removed as you can tell in video.

I don't use sleep on my PC, it's up 24/7, but idling most of the time. It's likely a 14.1 issue. If it happens the next time I play I'll roll back.

If the purpose is putting the video up on any streaming site, I suggest rgb lossless is a total waste. Why????? Especially YouTube. I don't care what any guide tells you or what you think you are gaining, it's useless and a total waste.

actually some games lossless RGB helps with issues with color blur because of motion and fast movement racing games and flight sim games seem to benefit the most from lossless RGB.
