just did a quick 13 min recording of Thief with the 13.12 drivers. No crossfire support so far for the game but performance is good. While recording using a single R9 290x the game ran a solid 60 fps on its benchmark utility and while not recording i got 65FPS ( AVERAGES ). The game ran flawless in general game play where FPS would be from 60 to about 100 while recording. I'll update with the youtube video.

what? smile.gif wasn't BF3 frame pacing already done? BF3 is old...

Yes it is but I guess they are talking about high res and eyefinity frame pacing for the sub 290(x) or something or it is just an uninformed PR person stating it.
Me is checking out the source fudzilla used.

The main thing is that BF4 stuttering due to a bad install or memory being flooded and swaped should now be fixed.

So how is thief running for people? Just trying to get a side by side comparison with how it's running on nvidia... SLI is completely broken right now, but it's running @ 120fps @ ultra on 1080P w/ a single titan @ stock clocks. I'm just trying to figure out why they would port an UE3 game to mantle, seeing as they are normally REALLY easy to run w/ low system demand.

i find UE3 games are unplayable without tripple bufferering.
