But if I add this line, BF4 Mantle runs like crap, even if it's set to 4, which seems to be the default. I just have to let it do its own thing and Mantle runs fine.
tried that...it goes to max 6 job threads (D3D and Mantle both)
the result is that w/ D3D 11.1 my setup is really fast and smooth at 1080p... no MSAA and ultra textures even 100-130 fps, MSAA 4x even really good... no bad spikes which ruin the experience, range 60+ - 100 fps...
w/ Mantle (but textures high and MSAA off because of the vram issue) multigpu suffers a lot now and fps is lower than D3D and also unstable, with many abnormal fps drops... that is, if Mantle becomes smooth is welcome for sure...but i don't really need it now
hope AMD does an increasingly better job with Mantle... keep up the good work AMD Edited by 7stars - 2/26/14 at 10:49am
