Tried to play BF4 last night with Mantle to see if the issues have magically been fixed without me knowing. Nope, back to DX11 i guess redface.gif

what issues are you having in Mantle? It works on both my intel and amd sigs.

both using this driver.

yes, 2 290s. my second one was reaching 94 (or even higher) and was throttling, though.

Memory leak issues. It works great when i first start playing, but performance degrades substantially with time until its unplayable or windows throws an out of memory error. 290x crossfire + 4700k, same things happens with 14.7 or 14.9.1 drivers. I have 16gb ram and ssd pagefile set to 12gb.

I have not seen those drivers though, I'll have to give them a try

before patch i was getting like 1.7x performance but now..so i use DX11 for now. FX is good enough for my 60Hz monitor

Ok so I did a complete uninstall of drivers using the latest ddu in safe mode. Installed this. on my r9 280x crossfire mantle still doesn't work. So Mantle sucks.

it would start using up all my graphics memory and then lags. running windows 8.1 will all latest updates. On dx11 everything works as good as dx11.1 can

LoL just deleted cache and reinstalling driver... 1 round of horrible performance but then it started to working well smile.gif
