Good PSU for under £100 (UK)

Thread Starter
I have recently built a new PC but the XFX 750W pro PSU I bought from maplin through the amazon market place has died after a few months. I sent it back under their "no quibble guarantee" and after 9 days mapin told me the best they can do is I can pay an extra £7 to "upgrade" to a Corsair CX750 or take a refund. They will not budge on this stance. So I guess I will be getting my money back. /end rant.

I'm hoping to SLI the GTX 760 in the future so I need 4 PCIe connectors. Modular would be nice seeing as space is tight in my case and the XFX was a challenging routing cables. I will do doing some mild overclocking, nothing outrageous as I'm air cooling.

TL/DR:
Im looking for a new PSU for under £100 to power:
Asrock extreme4
i5 - 3570K
GTX 760 gigabyte windforce (SLI in future)
256gb OCZ SSD boot drive
500gb WD black storage HD
6 120mm fans

I like the 5 year warranty and flat cables on the new RM750 from corsair but there are very few reviews seeing as its so new. HX750? XFX 750 XXX semi-modular? Any suggestions most welcome, thanks.

All you need for this is a good 550W PSU, but I recommend looking at 650W PSUs to make it easier to find one that has enough PCI-E cables.

You can get the 650W SeaSonic M12II for £83.58 inc. VAT from Scan

Or you can get the original 650W NZXT HALE90 which is an even better PSU for £99.18 inc. VAT from Scan

Both would be excellent choices for you.

You sould pick the NZXT HALE 90 if you can

Its based on the Super Flower Glolden Green

Actually it can do 80 Plus Platinum despite it says 80 plus gold on it

For SLI 760, 750W, seasonic-based. Can probably get away with a 650W. Don't think Enermax do a 750W under £100, but also an option.

Antec High Current Gamer 750W .

Seasonic G series 750w.

XFX 850W Silver.

850W Enermax NANX.

Seasonic G750.

That kind of stuff.

No, for this system, which is to be "mildly overclocked", with two GTX 760s in it, the gaming power consumption will never exceed 500W. Ever. Therefore, a good quality-made 650W PSU would be overkill (or perfect, depending on your opinion). I could recommend a good 550W PSU, but I recommend a 650W PSU instead because it would make it easier to obtain one that has enough PCI-E connectors.
