GPU questions

So I am buying a new card for my computer till I build a new one next year. I was wondering if I should go with one with one gig ddr5 and 256bit or one that has two gigs of ddr5 and only 128bit. What are the benefits of each I know one has more ram but not sure how the 128 vs. 256 bit make a difference?

what are you using the card for? i am assuming gaming and that's why 2 Gbs is recommended. when it comes to bus width; yes bigger is better but if the smaller 128 bus' Vram is clocked twice as fast than both would be ~equal.

though really you would be best to find a card thats 2Gbs with a 196 bit bus as a minimum (depending on your resolution).
