Look, I understand that you're running a GTX Titan and you could probably sell it without much loss, but do you really need any more horsepower? Even moving to a "cheaper GCN card" is ludicrous given used resale value and your existing graphics throughput. I've never understood the sky-high demands for performance of this forum. I know that this is OCN and all, but can you even just settle for a product and be happy for what you paid for? Far too often I see threads of new hardware filled with regrets of early adopters and bemoanings of current "top dog" holders. A new architecture does not reduce the effect of current hardware: it only affects future purchases.
Feeling driven by hardware-lust and e-peen is a fruitless endeavor; it's the equivalent to a shopping addiction. Just because you overclock does not justify fresh purchases. I'm an enthusiast as many others on this forum, but blindly buying equipment you'll never saturate is a waste of funding. Taking my "repliee" into consideration, does he really do anything to stress a 4.5GHz 3770K outside of benchmarks? It's like purchasing a turbo for a Volkwagen Bug. Save your money for when you truly feel limited by your current hardware.
