Questions about dual Cpu system

Thread Starter
Just put together my fist intel dual cpu system.
Board is a supermicro X7DWN+ (Skull trail without overclocking)
and 2X 45nm Quad cores (Xeon E5405)

1)
Under full load, my first cpu is running considerably hotter than the other (8c to 12c depending on the core)
Does the 1st cpu have anything that would inheantly cause it to run hotter?
BTW the VID's are the same, 1.08 V
and it can't be a mounting issue, the 1st heatsink has better airflow but it is still hotter to the touch.

EDIT:
Oh by the way at idle the temp difference is more like 5c

2)
I'm pretty sure I can bsel these to 1600 FSB and 2.4ghz,
but will i need 800 mhz ram? or does this board have a memory divider?

Incase anyone googles this thread, I have answered my own questions:

1) one of my cpu's just runs hotter than the other
I confirmed this by switching the cpu socket

2) My mobo hapily ran at 1600 fsb with slower ram
Mobo set up a 5:4 mem to fsb ratio for 640mhz ram
