Sli issue: very slow load time GTX 660 TI 2 way - Page 2

cards with different specs will have different bios versions. this is normal. I almost want to say that vram size is what's causing this issue, but I've ran 8800GTS 320 and 640, 9800GTX+ 512 and 1024,GTS 450 1024 and 2048, and a GTX285 1024 and 2048. I never had an issue like yours. The only problem I had was enabling SLI smile.gif Have you tried switching your cards around? Like top to bottom?

Yes, and if I put the asus one as master, it will crash when I try to enable SLI. I fund out the only way I can get it to work in SLI is by putting the card with the smallest amount of VRAM in the first slot. I am actually using pcie x16 1 and pcie x16 2, is that right?

Thank you Vlasov for trying to help me, but I gve up. I refunded my card and bought an asus gtx 660 ti 2gb instead. I wanted to say that Newegg has been very comprehensive and Refunded me the whole price plus they pay for my shipping back. I was very impressed by their service. I know for sure that my issue will be solved now haha smile.gif
