To me it just sounds like they want to keep their pretty tech demo looking pretty. I'm more interested in competitive, exciting, "Take me back to the good ol' days of KZ2" multiplayer than going "zomg the game lookzz prettiessss". The pretty graphics are only going to be relevant (IMO) for so long if the gameplay is horrific. Halo 4 looks AMAZING and has an amazing campaign, but the multiplayer is pure trash and I couldn't play it even a 1/100 as much as i played Halo 3's multiplayer.

I think they should have kept the 60 ish FPS for the single player as well. 30 is Ok for some types of games but for shooters IMO 30 FPS is just to low.

Multiplayer supposed to run at 60... can anyone confirm whether it will still be 1080p or not? I'm really torn between keeping my PS4 pre-order or doing a custom loop in my PC this fall.

Custom loop, then buy a PS4 in the spring after you get your tax return.

Next-gen consoles are ridiculously slow compared to PC's and no where near as powerful as their current-gen siblings were at launch. Nowhere was that said, nor have I ever experienced screen tearing in a Killzone game.

There will just be better graphical fidelity at the points where they decided to dip below 60fps, that's all.

lol this guy's such a tool

the situations where the framerate will drop are going to be the heavy action sequences where you need responsiveness the most

wasn't the previous killzone the game where there was massive input lag and they tried to spin it as giving the guns a "weighty and visceral" feel?
