[DSOgaming]Battlefield 4 Demo Was Running On A Single R9 290X At AMD’s Event At 5760×1080 - Page 4

I did a quick 4k res test with battlefield 3 on ultra with 4xMSAA using a single 780 and I was hovering close to or being around 30fps. On another forum, someone did similar tests in multiplayer and was hitting or getting close to 60 most of the time. He told me that single player was heavier (and proved it by doing a single player test run and was getting the same rates as me, 25-30fps).

Yes because multiplayer is more cpu intensive.

I'm starting to get worried about the performance of the new AMD gpu's. All this talk about how well it does on Battlefield 4 and not a word about any other game is getting suspicious. I do more than play Battlefield.

The focus was on BF4 because it will be the first game to support Mantle, after a patch shortly after release. Even without Mantle we will be looking at 780 performance without a problem. I expect the 290X and 780 to look like the 680 and 7970 on benchmarks, each winning in some, losing in others, and a few games where one just blows the other away.
