watercooling AMD cards, any manufacturer with mod-friendly warranty?

I want to start watercooling my gfx card, but I'm concerned with losing the warranty on it. I know EVGA allows users to remove the stock cooling solution to replace it with aftermarket coolers, but i wanted to know if any of the AMD manufacturers do something of the same?

I'm pretty sure XFX allows for the heatsink to be removed for North America customers, however for Europe I believe it is otherwise.

I know for a fact asus does as long as you put it back together and don't damage anything

Avoid XFX like the plague in Europe. Technical Support don't have a clue what they sell and can't be trusted. They also specifically told me they don't support alternative cooling.

thats a damn shame. In the states XFX is like the most trusted brand for GPUs. They also take care of their customers with warranties, etc.

My buddy bought an XFX 6950 card brand new a year or so ago and a few months ago he sold it to me. When he owned it he had registered it on the XFX website so the double lifetime warranty would kick in. When I tried to go through the process of transferring the warranty I realized that he forgot a letter when he input the serial which meant I couldn't transfer it. Tried contacting XFX 2-3 times to see if this could be fixed after explaining what happened and still have yet to hear from them.

A few years ago I was looking for a new HD5770 reference card to crossfire with my other one. As the 5770 had been out for a while there were few reference cards available but XFX had one. However to double check I raised a ticket with XFX Support who told me that that particular card was indeed a reference card so I bought it.

The first one turned out to be faulty so after a bit of a runaround with technical support they agreed to replace it. I'd checked it with the stock heatsink to find it was faulty so didn't remove it. When the replacement card arrived and checked out as OK I then removed the heatsink to find that it was not in fact a reference card.

XFX Support said it was but eventually conceded that they sometimes change the card but still call it a reference card but as they don't support alternative cooling it was my problem and not theirs. Ever since then I've not bought an XFX product and never will. I'm not the only person to be caught out like this with their so called 'reference' cards.
