Help choose: NZXT Phantom 630, NZXT H630, or NZXT Switch 810 - Page 2

Otherwise hard to argue with the Phantom series as a whole IMO. I honestly never saw much NZXT love (or hate) and was really choosing pretty blindly when I first purchased a Phantom 410 and I was absolutely impressed. The build quality is VERY SOLID in my opinion. The case was for my girlfriend, I got the white and blue for her. I was using a CM Storm Enforcer case which I absolutely loved, but while we assembled her build I was getting a little jealous about how nice the Phantom 410 was. Since then I switched to a PHAN-001WT that I got an excellent deal on and I was very impressed with it.

I've been very happy with the tower, but it's missing a few of the extra nice features I want. So I'm actually in the same boat as you, except I am trying to decide between the Phantom 530 and the Switch 810. I'm getting prices of about $120 for the 530. It's a hard choice.

I guess the question is do you really want/need an "ultra tower" rather than just a full tower?

One thing I will mention is that you will have a slight problem with a 360mm radiator in the top of the Switch 810. There's a slight plate (behind the top 5.25 bay) that blocks about 25-33% of the forward-most fan. Not a huge deal, but just be aware. It's easily worked around, or you can just dremel out a bit of the plate. *NOTE* This really will NOT be a problem with a Swiftech 320 though as it uses a thin radiator at 29mm deep. If you do push/pull the bottom fan wont run into the plate and there will still be clearance. It's mostly a problem if you want to run a double thick (60mm) radiator and push/pull. Although with a thick radiator like that you would be fine with just doing a pull setup. I'm not sure about the specs on the 630, I assume that it wouldn't even be a problem, but IDK.

Other than that, there is really nothing wrong with the Switch 810 it's still one of the best cases for watercooling and if you want to hook up those GPU's later it will work excellent as it gives you 3 different options for installing a 240mm radiator in the bottom/front of the case, which you would more than likely want (need) to do with that cpu and 2x gpu.

Anyways make sure to check in with what you decide.
