Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 207

So theirs one thing I don't understand.

In the case theirs a screw that has a metal piece sticking out of it (It's like a standoff with a metal piece) that I had to unscrew out of the case (with pliers). It doesn't have a place where I can screw in another screw (since all thats coming out of it is a metal bar), so that place where i'd normally put a screw has a standoff that isn't raised (Like the raised humps).

I can't figure out anyway to get a screw through that hole (I guess I could use a longer screw)?

Any ideas? I mean it's 1 standoff Im missing....is this ok?

I think the new 760T should be added to this thread since both cases are basically the same.

I'm tempted to give the NZXT cooler attachment a shot on one of my cards. I have a spare Kraken x60 still in the box that I haven't decided yet of I want to sell or use for a GPU.

Perhaps I'll wait until Nvidia releases the 880, sell my 760's and then add the cooler.

The 760T more likely will be added to the 600T graphite club, but with the internals being the same as the 750D,i understand what you mean....Also the 750D is in the obsidian series....

If you take it out your missing a standoff, however I guess your missing one either way eh? Prolly shouldn't be that big of a deal.

My XSPC dual bay res does not fit flush in the 750D. It is about 2mm too wide on each side. Aside from not sitting completely flush, it also means that it does not sit far enough back for the screw holes to line up. It's held in by friction and occasionally starts buzzing so I've got to reach over and wiggle it a little bit to get it to stop.

The graphite thread is too old and too big, someone either needs to start a new 760t thread or expand this one biggrin.gif

PrimoChill Ice Intensified - Blood Red, but I darkened it alot since it was more of a light pink colour in the tubes

PrimoChill Rigid Acrylic Tubing, I destroyed my first attempt by trying to bend it too quickly which caused it to flatten on the inside of the bend, when I slowed it down it was fairly easy except for the bends basically on another bend which took some time to make sure I didn't bump the first corner out while doing the second, I also made things harder on myself by trying to avoid using 90 degree connectors except on the res where I just couldnt get it tight enough around the corner in the small space.
