Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 323

I did try new thing, and GPU is 6-7C cooler; this is better

My GPU is now 26C - load 72C

I did OC +220 - 7300Mhz (780Ti reference card)

Also using for cleaning plexi (inside & outside); no dust & no scratch

We'll be able to get that sorted out for you. Like what 15goudreau suggested, submit a ticket at Corsair.force.com.. then attach some photos of that side panel and we'll send out a replacement for you right away.

Brandon6199 already came with the solution to that problem if you got the old version of the case and if you got the revised version, then those problems were addressed. Other than that, this case is pretty open to one's imagination as to what and how you put things in (given you meet the max dimensions).

Amazon must still have some old stock, then. I had to do the same with mine and I just got it last week.

thanks for the reply about my build

I have one more question though:

lets say I would go with MSI Z87 Xpower mobo instead of M6E

how can I mount this thing in the 750D ?

I only see holes for ATX boards on pics...and yes I know this case supports XL-ATX / EATX, but my question is how do I mount it smile.gif

thanks

Edit: Also forgot to ask: how can I know if I have the old revision or the new one, which support even the mobos with backplates ?

It mounts the same way, you just won't be able to put any screws in the bottom 3 holes. The other 9 are plenty enough though. Those are in the exact same spots as the ATX.

I'm not sure about the revised case. But if you don't have a motherboard with a backplate, it doesn't really matter.

There is no known compatibility issue with that MSI Z87 board, so you should be fine.

Any case that has the lot code 1351 or higher is the revised version.

Just like to point out that my case has a 1351 lot code and it has the old revision motherboard standoffs. Lame, but oh wells, doesn't affect me since i'm using an R4F.

(Also, so much for legendary corsair customer service, lodged a ticket for my defective fan 3 days and no response.... awesome).

3M automotive double sided trim tape found at most auto parts stores. It's weather proof and as long as your surface is cleaned with alcohol before applying it will last forever.
