hmm will classic "PSU screws" work (I dont know what size they are, but they are surely longer than the ones, which came with case) for installing the mobo with center standoff changed ?

thanks

did you do anything to dampen the noise from the pump

the way its setup the pump top is resting on the side of the case and surely that cant be good for vibrations

I do have a piece of paper behind the pump, you could use that or even a piece of foam/cardboard....

The whole point of a back plate is to prevent warping/flexing so doing so just to keep it on there is sort of asinine.

Personally, back plates are more a marketing thing than anything else. There is absolutely no purpose for the backplate on z87 boards other than knowing it's there. You cant even see it.

^^^^^^ This.....You could just remove the backplate or do a little modding, all the info for the mod is on the first page of this thread....It's under the title ''Mounting an ASUS Maximus VI Formula in the corsair 750D''....

I am hoping to join the 750D owners club shortly, but I need to confirm something first. Will the Swiftech MCR320 Drive fit in it? Swiftech says it will fit the 700D and the 800D, but I was hoping someone can confirm it will fit the 750D before I order one(I already have the MCR320).

Thanks!

I have the D5 Pump with the BP Top, and what I did was place some rubber washers between the mount and the side of the case to push the top away from the side of the case. Since I have the pump dress up kit as well i needed some extra space. Should work for your situation as well. Works great. Anchors just fine and ZERO noise.
