Pics as of now.

Going to remove the white plasti dip on the memory, didn't come out how I thought. Not a fan of it. Also, not sure about the sli ribbon. I think I'm going to get one of the solid Asus bridges to match my ek sli block.

Just a teaser with the base acrylic got so much to do, the lighting is looking pretty good, have so much more to go it's painful doing every hole and wire specified for the case.

Looks good... will look better once you have fluid in there... not a fan of LED's shining out at the viewer but I think I remember you saying you'll be using black coolant. If it's not too much trouble see if you can take a pic with a piece of acrylic or something in the res so we can get an idea of how it will look diffused.

In particular i'm curious how much it will reflect back on the acrylic mounting plate. Also It might be interesting if you were to mount the LED on the res diffusing off the acrylic rather than the other way around. Lighting up the res vs lighting up its surroundings making the res look like a black void. It's hard to imagine without seeing but could possibly make for a really interesting/unique effect while highlighting all the work you've done with that custom acrylic mount and the surroundings with a softer light.

I don't frequent this forum but found this thread and I need some input. I was at my local tiger store and picked up a 750d, I thought my rad/fans would fit. Upon getting home and going over it some more I have came to the conclusion that it will not.

I have the Nexxxos 3x120 60mm rad. With push pull configuration its 110mm thick. surely wont fit on the top. In fact I don't think it would fit on the top with just a push config. I did however think of using the koolance radiator fan shroud and mount it to the top of the case. I haven't made the measurements though.

The front would require me to cut the 5.25" bays out which I think will cut down the structural integrity. I could do a bottom mount but then were would the power supply go? I saw in an earlier page were someone was doing a mockup and they did just that, and mounted the psu to the front, not sure how that would be done securely though.

Thoughts?

Thanks thumb.gif and Yes you are 100% correct I Will be using a pastel black in the res so thats going to cover the LED strip and just shine on the acrylic edges around the reservoir which should come out with a really cool effect... unfortunately Im really a far away from filling up the res anytime soon but maybe might be able to mock up something to see how it will look with non-transparent liquid inside.

So the idea is the LED's will shine through the acrylic, hit the res and bounce back to reflect back on the acrylic as a dimmed light, I feel if I put the LEDs on the back of the res it might make the acrylic too bright, which is why I wanted them to be diffused then hit the black coolant.. these are also dimmable LED's so I will be hooking them upto a switch to adjust the brightness smile.gif

this weekend I should be adding the acrylic panels to the sides and the lighting on the sides so it will be similar to the base acrylic lighting I put in place.

hopefully soon I will be receiving my coollaboratory liquid ultra so I can delid the processor and thow in the Motherboard and CPU blocks to start the tube routing...

I'm just about to figure out what fittings to use and might have to buy silver acrylic fittings, then get them powder coated gold because I canot find gold hard tube fittings except for these monsoon hardline ones..

black liquid in a clear acrylic tube with gold fittings = SEXY wink.gif any other suggestions smile.gif

Check out the first post of the thread and try searching through the thread. Many people have fit bunches of different radiators in the 750d. Especially cutting the 5.25" bays is a popular mod with no structural integrity lost at all. But definitely look through the thread a bit.

Have you thought about going with black fittings and a gold/yellow mayhems concentrate?

Would be cheaper than getting fittings custom painted and I would argue having the fluid as the accent color would help move the eye around the build more.
