Would be awesome if it did fit...would solve some of the intake restriction issue without having to mod the original panel

Figured I'd ask in here since I noticed that a lot of you guys use corsair fans as well. I've now gone through 5+ corsair af and sp fans. They start ticking and finally give out a week or so later. I've had the issue in two of my builds. Running off of a fan controller and two different motherboards so I know it's not one specific piece of hardware making them fail. I've spent hundreds of dollars on their fans because I love the look and performance but I think I'm done with them. I'd try and start a ticket but a) I'm not sure if they warranty fans and b) my last experience with corsairs warranty department wasn't positive at all. Had a damaged 750D case panel and it took almost two months to finally get my ticket even looked at. Can anyone recommend some fans that I can replace them with? My build is black and white with a touch of red. This really sucks, I love corsairs products and have always bought their brand where I can because I trust it not to fail. But I just can't keep shelling out $20 so frequently to replace fans. Thanks for any input.

Maybe you could look at some Noiseblocker Eloops? The downside to them is that you can't really use them in pull because of the blade design.

Need to be able to pull, top rad pulls only and front rad is push/pull : /

Thanks for the suggestion though thumb.gif

Cougar fans?

Just started using them with two new builds and they are very quiet and very high quality. I also had ticking issues with my Corsair fans..

very nice build, sorry to hear about your fans though.
if you dont mind painting blades, there are a few out there, having recently shifted from enermax tb silence to AP-15, i would suggest the GTs to you
is noise a factor to you or are you going for all out performance?

i moved from noctuas to gt ap15s and the diff is astounding. i have one that makes a slight noise but to fix it ive got to resolder the wires and chage the fan out.
i dont think its the fan though i thinks its just the vibrations on the top of the case.

Would adding rubber washers then be any use?
