Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 381

Yes, I physically remove the res with tubes attached to fill it up. I simply remove the top since it's on a rotary fitting. Well that's how I used to do it. I have since put in another radiator but the concept is the same.

edit: there really isn't a fillport because I'm using the inlet as the fillport. That isn't the multiport top so I had to get creative. worked really well for what I needed it to do.

It is slightly slanted.

I used the 3rd hole from the bottom to install the mount. The hole below it couldnt fit due to the protrusion of part of the case....

Do i really have to drill a hole....

Or you could make a custom back plate to mount it to, like a few of us have done.

You can also see the fill port I used at the top of my res with the 90 degree adapter on it. Once the loop is filled I remove it. Forgot to take it off before I took the pic.

Hey Doc, do you mind letting me know the rad size you used for top and front? I'm planning a build and that pic you posted is pretty much how I have it in my mind to set up.

Thanks.

Close, Alphacool UT45 - 360 up top and a UT60 280 in the front. I had to have a small dremel party on the front of the case to make the rad line up where I wanted it, but it was very easy. I set the drain caps on the front lip and just drilled out the holes where I needed them. Mostly done with a router bit.

i didnt realize how wide the case is. it looks like a 240. i forgot there is room for the fans in front under the bezel. assumed the fans were inside and was the reason the rad sits in so far...

might not be an antec thread but there is a 900 sitting next to the old dell dust heap.
