All up thats 85mm,all i did was offset the rad to clear the 8~pin on my motherboard....

Have any of you tried setting up your top rad as exhaust and rear 140 as intake, or is that just a bad idea?

How man rads are/will you be running....? If 2, then run them both as intakes, if 1, the it shouldn't be a problem, just run all other fans as intake (rear/front and bottom)....

I ran that setup for a bit, it's not too bad, but I didn't have a fan filter on the back so a lot of dust got in. Also rads perform better sucking clean air in

I've only got 360mm one waiting for me when Fedex opens Monday, but am planning on getting a 240 for the bottom. I was going to have that as an exhaust when I get it, so I was worried about air to the 360, but I'll probably just make it all intake now.

My 240 in the front has always been intake. I started out with the top 360 rad as exhaust and the rear 140mm fan as intake. I switched the 360 rad to intake and use the 140mm fan exhaust. This gives me the 240 and 360 rads as intake and the 140mm as exhaust. I didn't really notice any difference between the two setups. It just makes more sense to have the 140mm fan as exhaust given it's close proximity to the motherboard's components.

I installed the Photon 270 and a standalone Alphacool D5 w/ acetal HF top in my 750d this weekend. I need to do a little more work to it tomorrow to get it finished. I need to put in a couple more 90° fittings and mount the pump to the floor. Only a cell phone pic for now.

20140511_212557_zpsalt2s2ii.jpg

I took the Photon reservoir apart and sanded the slightly-tacky looking XSPC logo off of the center tube. XSPC sandblasted the tube originally, seeing as how I don't have a sandblaster I had to frost the full length of the acrylic to get a uniform look. I used 400 grit sandpaper and it came out great. I kept holding the LED up to the end to check for spots that needed more work.
