Question. Looking to tidy up some of the wires and finalize the placement for the fan controller and want to give the fittings one last double check before moving on. How many here only hand-tightened their fittings?

Thanks. I was starting to worry that I needed to get in there with pliers to get that extra little turn. I made very sure I got as tight as possible with fingers alone. Damn near cut up my fingers in the process.

Thanks again.

OK, I have the fan controller placed where I originally wanted it and have all the connectors ready to go. Just curious as to where people usually place the temperature probes? I don't think I need to have temp readings from 6 different locations within the case so where are the more important/common/obvious places to put the probes?

Thanks.

I only had to use a pair of pliers for one fitting on my gpu block. Couldn't get it quite tight enough with my hand.

Can I ask you if you realized this prior to testing the loop or did you catch it leaking?

Caught it leaking. 24 hours of it not leaking and now I'm up and running.

When I finally figure out how to jump the PSU I'll be going through some very nerve racking testing. I plan to leave it running with the pump on its highest setting for 48 hours while gently tapping/moving the tubbing and connections to ensure that all is well. I plan to get a bunch of MF towels around the innards of the case and then place paper towels over that. I figure if I can get past that initial test I should be golden then I'll drain and refill with fresh water and reduce pump to an appropriate level.

I had a few probes in my loop for no other reason than i was curious and i am gonna put on somewhere on the case or just outside the case for an ambient temp reading.
