Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 545

i have bought the demc dust filter for my 750D and i recommend you dont buy it.
there are some serious design problems.
for the preventing dust part, demc is greatest but for the user friendly part demc gives me a terrible experience.

for the front part, after sticking the demc front filter on the original 750 dust filter, you have to cut out the original dust filter's net otherwise a double filter would sharply reduce the air in-take.
the more silly part is that the front door of 750D cant be placed back to the case after using the demc front filter. you have to cut the top corners of left and right side of demc front filter so that the 750D door can be closed properly.

for the bottom part, it is almost impossible to stick the bottom demc filter to the bottom part of 750D. the weak magnet is one of the problem. another problem is that the layout of bottom part of 750D is not flat while the size of demc bottom filter is not big enough to cover the whole hole of 750D bottom part.

the top demc filter is okay, at least is can be properly placed on the top.

i complained to DEMC and then refunded.

all those are good! I dont know how good EK rads are though! But there cpu and gpu blocks are good so I imagine their rads would be too! never seen anyone have them on their build personally! Just find you some good high static pressure fans! which is different than fans with high rpm / CFM

I use the stock filter. works great if you have a good airflow my air flow is top notch and I dont ever have any dust in my system! I have 6 intake fans 4 exhaust fans!

Thanks, my friend is recommending them. I think he uses them. He wasn't a fan of the Alphacool ones.

he use the alpha cool monsta ut series? because that be the first review I have seen / read / heard of it not being good! If you dont use a push pull figuration on it it doesnt work quite as well because of the density and thickness of the rad!

I thought you was talking about the filter at the psu lol! your referring to the space under the harddrive cages...I dont have a filter their but I dont have any dust build up because of my good air flow (positive pressure) inside the case

He uses the EK PE ones like I listed after asking him. Man pricing all of this is getting crazy. It is almost to the point it costs more than my rig. Around $580 now.
