Well man that would be awesome to see rigid in this build , so probably not worth doing anything until you do.

Do you have a bending kit ? i will build myself a jig soon + i have the monsoon bending kit as well so i will get perfect 90" bends and some 45" bends
I'm sorry to hear that. What mobo did you had? I will buy bending kit because I don't have it. smile.gif I hope it will come out nice

GA - Z97X Gaming 3 , i bent pins on the cpu slot putting the plastic cover back on wrong side of metal bracket , and very gently squashed pins , i was very mad so i also know how well that MOBO flys , it can fly for quite some distance biggrin.gif
I will get a better one when money allows as i want the gold plated plugs for my audio recording i do , i have been playing guitar for over 20 years , so maybe this is a blessing in disguise , as my flying mobo does not , even though it can fly it is not so good for audio

Ok so bending kits , well you can make your own jig very easily with just a flat psece of board like MDF custom wood or plywood , and draw some lines on the board in a grid fashion , and just use that by eye , or you can take that a step further and use a hole cutting saw and cut some disks out and screw the to your board in a couple of places and make your own 90" bends around these , you can make a sliding slot for one to make a variable one.

There are many options , i could have very easily built my own from scratch , and mostly still will , but i will use the monsoon bending mandrels as well as it just makes some things easier to do like changing direction from one plane to another , in other words , not just 90" on a flat plane , but to go 3d and have another 90" vertical from that too ..etc..

Also the measuring kit , which is the main thing i wanted , this allows you to easily measure complex angles on many planes and be fully accurate instead of guessing or being round about accurate.

I see people say they did there bends by eye and free hand , and yes it can be done very well , but most of the time it is not , and i will look at a dudes build and look at how straight a tube runs parallel to a mobo board or a reservoir for eg , and not many get it right.

So some pics and links for you:

Frozencpu for what ever level you want , i got the bending mandrels 13 mm and measuring kit separate , you can buy a whole kit ( i do believe it is not in a large box as pictured but separate )
I got the USA imperial measurement even though i have 12 mm , as im sure it will make zero difference , as we will be talking 0.50 mm off center
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Jigs , dyi.
Monsoon mandrels :

I see stock is out :
Frozen main page select appropriate kit ( 13 mm mandrel kit + measuring kit for me ) :

For below youtube examples , also look at all the monsoon videos on bending mandrels ans measuring kit.

Linus said you don´t need it necessary...but does it work? how are your temps with push/pull and without pull or push?

It doesn't do anything more for it. Just did it just because.

Ouch. I'm not a fan of gigabyte but still seems to be like it was usable mobo. 20 years? Wow. I've been playing guitar just for like 4 years. Those bending kits looks awesome but I can't get anything like that in Norway. We have just EK bending kit.

no Mobo wasn't usable , it was so easily damaged , just a moments lack of thought and i crushed some pins , they were so delicate they just broke off and blew away like dust before i had even noticed , it was instant and final.

Is ordering from Frozencpu not an option for you in Norway ? im in New Zealand and half way around the world , i get shipments in 8 days.

Of cause you can very easily make a jig if you want the straightest possible lines.

Right , yes i need to pay taxes too , but only if it costs $ 400 NZD + , so for me it works well , for e.g. i can get some things half price or even 4 x less for 12 mm tube for example , and most things for my build we do not have in this country , and much faster and cheaper to order it yourself than to order through a PC company here.

But taxes is pretty damn huge. If I buy anything for let's say $400, then I have to pay $100 for taxes. rolleyes.gif
