First one had a broken latch on the front panel, second one had a bent insert (I guess that's what you call the area that goes into the latch?), and the third one had no grommets on the top of the case so I couldn't install my fans. It was a nightmare having to deal with RMAing them. I originally thought it was a bad batch from Newegg so I ordered my third one from Amazon only to find a perfect front panel but no grommets.

Even now, while the fourth one works fine, it has a lot of scuffs on the see through panel which came with it since I took it off when I opened the case and put over bubble wrap to prevent exactly that. The door also has a weird squeaking noise when every I touch it, or unscrew it, almost as if the see through panel wasn't set right.

QA aside, the case design is great. If I could change anything, I'd ask Corsair to include fan filters for the bottom (had to buy two), I don't think it would have increased cost too much. I also decided to go with no Optical Drive, I think it looks terrible with one installed because the front panel is way bigger than an optical drive. Edit: No idea why second picture shows up upside down, if you click to look at the original it's right side up.

Thats why even thou they don't show it on the Fry's Electronics website I am hoping maybe they will have one in the Spring,Tx store... going up there in a week spend the weekend for a weeding only about 5 miles away from them. Before my 650D I use to own a Haf X that I got from there. And nothing better than seeing the case in person before buying. biggrin.gif

Anyone in the Houston area familiar with other PC components retailers other than Fry's???

Speaking of which, isn't their extra 3 standoffs needed to mount a M-ATX board? The ATX and EATX mounting is 100% painless though.

If I ever find I need one I guess I'll buy an external drive. Not sure why it was designed like this, they could have at least had the same brushed aluminum look under the removable bay panels. This is very unfornate because I really wanted a fan controller, but now it would look so out of place.

Get to modding! All you need is to line up your fan controllers nobs with the covers and drill some holes. Its a really thin piece of aluminium and mostly plastic.

Personally, i'm with buffaloo. I don't use physical controllers anymore. If you're still deciding what components to purchase i'd recommend the asus z87 sabertooth. The sabertooth is cheaper than the ROG line of boards, overclocks just as well and retains most of the features with some trade offs. You lose the better audio and some bling but the tuf armor doesn't get in the way like some of the VI series ROG boards and it has a pretty elaborate software based fan controller on the board; 6x pwm fan headers, 2x 3 pin fan headers, 3x thermostat hookups and i believe 8 integrated thermometers (for 11 total temp readings).

On mine I can monitor the temps of every section of my board and I've hooked up a thermometer to monitor the temps in my loop. I can control fan speeds to my radiators and intake/exhaust fans based on one or a combination of the temperature readings, all integrated on the motherboard without running sensors everywhere and cluttering the case up with wires. Highly recommended for anyone who likes a fine level of control over thermals while keeping their build as simple and clean as possible. thumb.gif

Really? My 750D came with one built in stand-off in the middle of the board tray and one loose stand off.

It is the XT 360 and 240. I can't see why the XTX won't fit. It is the exact same width and only about 4mm longer. Looking at the clearance on mine, there is bags of room all around.
