Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 864

@Wolftame - That's unfortunate, sorry for all the trouble. But no worries, I'll work with our customer service and we'll figure out a solution for you without sending your case back to us.

We definitely need to look into this further and find out the reason why there was a build change. Evidently, if we don't correct it now, it'll cause more problems in the future. Do you mind posting some photos of both fascia? the original and replacement. Side by side if possible where it clearly shows the difference location of the tabs. I'll have to pass this on to George so he can investigate further. Thanks

My hands are kinda shaking for excitement. Last order went by last week, only thing that misses is fans. Hopefully they get those fast enough so i can get this thing ready for Lan-party. Went with soft tubing instead of hard as i wanted. No hard feelings though.

A bit of trouble yes, but prior to this it's been an ace case without any problems for almost two years.. Help from you and others at Corsair have been exemplary so far (thank you) so I really can't complain. Not having to ship the case would be a big relief to as I've checked some quotes and shipping it down to Holland would cost me nearly as much as buying a new case (surely there must be cheaper alternatives to the Swedish postal system). I've offered to send the two unused fascia back though as they could be used for someone else.
Of course I'll help in any way I can, I'll take a few pictures later today and post and will help in any other way I can't. I've already posted one side by side picture earlier in this thread showing the difference but will take some more.

OK, here goes @Corsair Joseph, let me know if you need better pictures.

Front, exactly the same.

Back, mostly the same, with the one important difference, the bottom hooks location.

A bit of a closeup, and my originally posted image here.

This marking is on both.

Old and new markings

Question: If you find it needs to be replaced, is there any chance to exchange the regular version for the airflow version? (AFAIK they cost the same)

Thanks wolftame. I've just sent an email to George so he can look at the photos you posted.

I have no problem sending you the Airflow edition smile.gif

Once George responds to this, I'll reply to your ticket.

Thank you, I hope it's of some use.
Forgot to add this picture from the box it came in.

Thanks for the photo, that really helps.

Anyway, I think we've figured out a way to rectify this issue. Our RMA team will contact you shortly in your ticket and will propose a few possible solutions to get this thing sorted out. If you have questions about it, let me know.

They already contacted me with the same offer you so kindly made. They just wanted some pictures showing me voiding the serial on the back (which I did already). They said the case was back ordered but would come in for shipping on the 13th (but didn't mention if that was the regular or airflow version mentioned).
If you need more or better pictures please let me know, this makes me curious too, why move the hooks at all?
I would also like to add that everyone involved from Corsair's side have been very helpful and provided above and beyond customer service!

Those photos are good enough to make the case. I'm curious to find out as well, still waiting on George response on this.

Thank you for commending our service, I really appreciate it. I'll make sure to share your positive feedback with our RMA team thumb.gif

On a side note while there's some quiet here. WHY is this wonderful case being marketed as only supporting a 280 in the top when it clearly can handle 420s unless they are too wide? There are mounting holes for the 420 already present to mount it.As few cases actually support 420 that could be employed in marketing as long as you state that the rad will have to be narrower than 150mm (and slim to avoid modding the case at all). Why not take advantage of that marketing opportunity? (and if not, why even make it with the mounting holes for a triple 140 rad?).
