@CorsairGeorge thanks for that! Wonderful service as always:)
@urbanfreestyle Looking forward to reading your build log. Is it possible for you to build a NAS instead? would save you from filling up your current case

Well, can't really help you there with the NAS since I have no need of such things but I'm sure you could find all the info you need on this forum. Take a read around here.

Are you going laptop or just a small form factor case? As for the link, I just googled for corsair. But I'm pretty sure that's the US one. Not sure if they have HQ in the UK.

Edit.
You could also purchase 5.25" to 3.5" adapters so you could use the ODD bay as HDD mounts...

Hey all, I thought I would share A couple pics of my new build here. Just completed it on Saturday.

So far I've just got the memory speed set to 3200 MHz by activating the XMP profile, but later this week I plan to see how far I can push the 6600k. I haven't seen many threads or articles about 6600k OC results but I imagine I should be able to get at least 4.0-4.2 GHz.

For cooling I am using a Corsair H110i GT on the CPU, the 280mm radiator mounted in the top of the case as an exhaust with a single set of 140mm fans pushing through it. The rear grill is being used as an intake with the stock 140mm that came with the case. In the front panel area I have an SP120 on the bottom, pushing through the HD cage, with another stock 140 in the top front position. A the final fan I have installed is another SP120 on the bottom as an intake (where the second HD cage would be, closest to the PSU).

I have the high airflow kit on the way from Corsair, when that comes I will likely put a 140mm back in the bottom front position. I am also considering taking out the HD cage in the bottom front (since I just have a slow old 1TB disk drive there that doesn't have much on it) to install another bottom mount intake.

And the last thing I want to try is a push pull config on the top mounted 280mm rad, it looks like I have enough clearance over the motherboard but we shall find out.

3 GTX 970s biggrin.gif
I got them for $189.99 each, was originally selling two and just keeping one... BUT THEY'RE SO PRETTY!!!
As far as use, the most strenuous thing I've done in the past month is run Firestrike..
I got Duke Nukem 3D from the Steam holiday sale, so that should stress them out some tongue.gif

also just picked up an Acer GN246HL with the hopes of convincing my wife to let me get another two...
Or I'll just buy them and tell her they multiplied.

Those are some dirt cheap prices for gpus! How are the temps? I couldn't even keep my lone 290 cool...
Just tell her you won them in a contest or lucky draw....

I've told her I've gotten enough things for free from various retailers and such, I don't think she'll buy it for much longer..

Temps are decent, I threw a 120mm TT Riing in front of them to help OC the mem some more. (also because shiney white light)
currently sitting at 1524core and 4000mem with idles around 35°c, and load can get up to about 80°c for the top card, the middle will be around 66°, with the bottom at 50°, also barely being used. Lol.
I just run everything with DSR at 4k, looks purdy, screws with my ui on W10 though.
getting solid frame rates, since I rarely upgrade I could justify this build... in my mind, with my flawed logic.
