Ahh, well, you're in luck. The vardars come in black and white and the gentle typhoons have grey blades! lol
well, if as for intake fans, i've converted to static pressure fans:D
I second the Static Pressure for intake.
Although wouldn't higher air flow be better for exhaust?

Well, airflow fans didn't work for me. The gt1850 rpm still beats the silverstone fm121 even though the latter has double the cfm when exhausting heated air that my 290 puts out

Has anyone noticed any better temps with the airflow front panel?

I suppose there are too many variables to have a cookie-cutter solution

There are those who did see a difference with the airflow panel. In fact, early on, one of the more popular mods was to cut out the solid panel and have mesh in its place for unrestricted airflow. To determine if it'll work for you, just put your comp under load with and without the front panel and see if there are temp differences

I did see a difference, not huge but they're there. Since I still get accommodations with Corsair through my old job I ordered the high airflow front panel, link commander mini, and a bunch of their RGB lights ^_^

You lucky s.o.b! Remember to post pics when you have them up and running. Been putting my mods and wc stuff on hold...a combination of being lazy, weekend fishing trips and chinese new year being on the horizon

Been updating my 750D yet again, replaced window for solid panel and added sound dampening material to both side panels and used soft foam on most of the passive ventilation.

Due to other issues with gunk still falling out of my rads and clogging my CPU block, i had to re-do my loop and flush it clean.
Bought some EK ZMT tubing, and re-did my loop, moving the rez/pump inwards.

I'm plannin on getting some Vardars to replace the SP120's in the bottom. and maybe a 140 for the back.

Your case looks filled... I like thumb.gif
I've heard the SPs are quite loud nad that the vardars have a more pleasant sound profile without the weird resonance at certain rpms unlike thr gentle typhoons. No plans to go rigid tubing??

Thanks! thumb.gif tho i could probably still throw in the 2nd drive cage if i wanted too... lol

They're very loud, especially when used in "Pull." Plus they're "Performance" editions, so i keep them at minimum speed then maybe up to 60% if i need it. lol
The Vardar's should be here tomorrow, tho.

I've considered hard tubing, but i'm probably going wait till I can afford something more interesting. Like, say stuffing an X99 or Z170 system into a modded CaseLabs pedestal.
Also, with the window panel having been replaced, there's no point in all that effort since I'm just going to be covering it up. lol
