Corsair 750D Owners Club - Page 897

Does anyone has a good solution for GPU support in this case?
I got 1 GPU that sags a little and 1 GPU without PCI clip.

Since I will stick with this case a while, so would it be good to have something to deal with both issues.

Mine sags really badly but it's got a full coverage copper block on it. I'd like to find a way to level it out as well but I haven't really messed with it.

I can't remember where I saw it but I remember seeing a GPU bracket (one was perspex, one was metal) for supporting the gpu

Need to take out that optical drive cage. Dremel and drill should do it.

How much flex does this case normally have?

I can move the motherboard tray enough to see parts move a little away from the motherboard it self. I feel that if I push it hard enough, something will not be 100% seated anymore.
Another thing is the case it self. If I push lightly on the top left corner in the front, half the case flexes and a lot of the hardware with it. Granted, that is without any panels on, but still its a lot of flex.

the case is quite flimsy...quite disapointing really..mine is quite bad...the mobo tray has a big warp in it which means when the gpu is mounted it is way out of square and takes a lot of force to line the mount up putting a truck load of strain on my pcie slot...if i had of noticed it before starting to mod my case i would have returned it...but way too much work done to do that now...too much lost time to do it all again...i will probably have to put a horozontal aluminium strip on back of mobo to pop the warp out and take the stress off hardware

Yeah, with these sorts of cases i think significant reinforcing work has to be done when modding. When mine is all assembled, it's solid enough but especially if you remove the ODD bays, you'll need some sort of reinforcement. I guess that's just the nature of tge beast. My previous case, the NZXT Tempest Evo was the same as well. No problem with my hardware that's been running in it for 6 years though and i move that case more than my 750D

That's not on all of them. I have no warping and I cut out the optical bays and once all together mine has no flex at all. It is not built quite as strong as the 800D or 900D but is a bit less expensive so it's understandable. The fit and finish is a bit off in some places so they could have done a bit better and I would have like to have seen them have a better system for attaching the side panels rather than the old thumb screws that are easy to lose and hard to line up but I don't think it's horrible for the price. My biggest complaint is with the magnetic filter on top, with screws in for the radiator is has bumps in it and even cracks after a while. They should have had something stiffer and a bit off of the top so this didn't happen. Fortunately for me I am exhausting out the top so I don't need it.
