Hey guys just ordered a 750d airflow edition, itll be here tomorrow and I have some questions.

1. Are all 750d airflow editions revision 2? Im planning to mount a EK 240 PE radiator in the front and the bottom sing a single push or pull config. Will I have to mod the case for this?

2. I've seen you guys mount HDDs in the back, how do I go about that? Any other ideas as to where to mount one HDD since ill be removing the racks for the front/bottom radiator?

Welcome to the club!though it's seen more activity back then. I will try to help where I can to try and make your journey a little less painful, lol

1. The airflow editions should be the revised one. There would be no problems mounting a 240mm up front and a 120mm below. It might be a bit tight fitting for the cables if you mount the bottom rad closer to the psu. Modifications should not be needed.

2. To mount hdds in the back, do take a look at my previous recent post in this thread. I'm on mobile so it's a bit of a hassle. If you have a 2.5" hdd then it would definitely be a non issue to mount it directly behind the motherboard tray. An alternative is to mount it within your ODD bays

At least it managed to stay untouched for almost a year before the fingers started itching again.

Got a question about water cooling I'm sure someone here is capable of answering. Sorry for wall of text.

When I started this build I was fairly new to PC building and totally new to water cooling. And I ended up with a GPU with a different PCB version than the waterblock was for, had already taken the gpu apart so couldn't return it and there wasn't a block for that pcb at the time, so I went with it and it has worked without any issues. Except that the 2 last holes to the left didn't align with the gpu holes, I just unscrewed the stand offs so it wouldn't short anything. I have an unmounted backplate, obviously with the same problem. It attaches with 4 screws, 2 if them being the ones that don't align. Can I use it anyway if I isolate the standoffs with electrical tape or something, or will it cause heat problems on the (whatever it's passively cooling) if it is not screwed down on both sides of the card? All the components matches the block and the backplate, ita just those 2 holes that doesn't align.

Honestly I wouldn't but it would bother me knowing it's not right. I would hate to say it will be fine and then something happens.
