At least it managed to stay untouched for almost a year before the fingers started itching again.
Got a question about water cooling I'm sure someone here is capable of answering. Sorry for wall of text.
When I started this build I was fairly new to PC building and totally new to water cooling. And I ended up with a GPU with a different PCB version than the waterblock was for, had already taken the gpu apart so couldn't return it and there wasn't a block for that pcb at the time, so I went with it and it has worked without any issues. Except that the 2 last holes to the left didn't align with the gpu holes, I just unscrewed the stand offs so it wouldn't short anything. I have an unmounted backplate, obviously with the same problem. It attaches with 4 screws, 2 if them being the ones that don't align. Can I use it anyway if I isolate the standoffs with electrical tape or something, or will it cause heat problems on the (whatever it's passively cooling) if it is not screwed down on both sides of the card? All the components matches the block and the backplate, ita just those 2 holes that doesn't align.
