Guys, I'm going to join the club! My 750D should arrive in a couple days and I'll be rebuilding my system in it.
For now I only have one question but it's an important one because it concerns purchasing expensive things that might not fit. I have a thick (60 mm) 3x120 rad that I will be sticking in the top of the case, and I thought since I'm rebuilding everything from scratch I should get another rad to lower the temps. You can't have enough rads, right?
I think I'll stick it in the front, and I will probably remove the 5.25 bay (unless it requires breaking too many things irreversibly). Will a regular (45 mm) 3x120 fit there while there's already a thick one in the top?

If not, then I should simply get a thick 240 mm or 280 mm and leave the 5.25 bay be, but I'd rather have a slimmer yet longer rad.

Nice! May i ask though, why 2 reservoirs? Are you going for separate CPU and GPU loops?

Well, the 60mm rad would definitely not fit on top. From the earlier posts, the 750D has 84mm clearance up top and your current rad + a set of fans in either push or pull configuration would already be 85mm. Not to mention you'll lose about 2 5.25" slots. If you're planning on sticking it in the front, you'll definitely have to remove the ODD bracket. Haven't done it myself so I cannot personally comment on the difficulty of such an undertaking. I personally, am going with a 3.120mm, 45mm thick rad up top and a 2.120mm, 60mm thick rad in the front. Hopefully with this configuration I won't have to mod anything along with getting the maximum rad space in the case.

Fair enough, but I don't think 1 mm overlap with the motherboard will be a showstopper, or even 3-4 mm if I add fan grills. I don't need the 5.25 slots unless that will be the only place to put my HDDs, but I expect to be able to mount one of the 3.5 drive cages. Then I can stick the ODD into one remaining slot, or I can drop it altogether because I can't remember the last time I needed it.
Besides, I think that's a 60 mm rad in the image you've just quoted, is it not?

You might be right actually. It might be a 60mm rad, let's see if @lvl1k0n can chime in on that. Based on memory, and do note that I may actually be wrong here, that thicker than 60mm may be possible, up to a point, if you're not planning to use the stock mounting holes. The rad can be mounted at an offset nearer the window side. One drive cage should be possible to mount in the bottom fan slot nearest the psu. Though that depends on the length of the tube res/ pump you are using as well. Normal HDDs can be mounted behind the motherboard tray but it will be quite a squeeze

That's the idea! The only thing that really troubles me now is how and where to mount the pump (DDC-1T). I'm thinking at the bottom fan grill that's closest to the front, but still not sure how I'm going to actually mount it.
Anyway, there's still a question of which rad to get as a second. Clearly, 2x120 or 2x140 is a safe option at any thickness, but I would prefer 3x120-140 even if it has to be slim. Clearly, that requires removing the 5.25 bay entirely. First off, do you know if it's even doable?

The reason I'm asking is I don't have my case yet, and I would like to get the rads as soon as possible - but first I need to decide on the size and I have to be sure it'll fit.

And another question: will a 480 rad fit either in front or at the top?
