Hi,

I have a question, might be a dum question. i have my machine hooked up to a apc battery backup 550va and 330watt. I have my other small network devices and monitor also hooked up to it as well. Would this cause any sort of problems? I had this connected with my old psu 850watt. Please let me know

It just depends on how much power your computer is trying to pull when a power outage occurs. If it's only pulling like say 100W or something at the time of a power failure, then it should be 100% ok. If you're in the middle of a game, then not at all. I mean, the PSU's capacity doesn't matter; it's how much power it is pulling from the wall outlet, and that's determined by the computer's power draw and the PSU's efficiency at the given time.

It's a computer!
