If valley benchmark crashes while benchmarking for stability, am i supposed to restart my PC?

Thread Starter
if I try running valley again after it crashes without restarting my PC, I get all sorts of weird errors like the unigine logo appearing everywhere and screen blacking out. I remember when I was using windows 7 I could just restart valley and it would work but now that I am using windows 8 I would like to know whether I should restart pc.

It is still advised that you restart after every crash to maintain stability and keep the results vanilla.
