Very interesting observation. I'm also considering the DA but unsure about its ergonomics. Does that protrusion interferes with the fourth finger? Mine touches the mouse side about 1cm before the right corner of the mouse, generally.

Doesn't bother me, personally, not at all.

I just want the right side to be grippier and thus ordered EC1 eVo.. Then Zowie goes and announces the EC eVo CL series =.=

It was uncomfortable to my ring finger, since I tend to claw grip, not palm.

When you get it I'd be really interested to know how the grip of it feels in more detail. Details are what makes a mouse comfortable ergonomically

I would also claw grip it. I think it really depends on whether one keeps the ring (and consequently little) finger in an extended or flexed position. In the latter case (my case) I would bet the finger could stay away from that annoying ridge. Who knows, maybe we should start an exhaustive grip picture thread once and for all, if one does not exist already.

I'm in the exact same boat as you lol. I have a deathadder, decided to order an ec1 evo, and then they announced the CL series. Our luck is great, isn't it?

Yeah haha. But we'll get to compare which scroll wheel we'll like better though. They may have made some subtle improvements that are not advertised like in the FK, so I'll prolly get the CL as well.

I ordered 2 eVos =.=
