You could try a fan mod to your gpu, basically you remove the plastic fan cover and use zip ties to attach a fan, say 90mm or 120mm onto the heatsink of the graphics card. It can reduce temps alot if the fins are arranged so they allow air to be blown onto the gpu.

i don't understand how this should look like

It would work for the bottom card if you have enough space underneath.

But again, is it worth $140 to have a quieter operation to you? That's the real question.

well i had some money saved to get a ps3 to play all the console exclusive titles that i've been missing on, i've never owned a console before so idk if it's worth shelling 140$ from the ps3 money for this acoustic upgrade mainly .... redface.gif

I don't know, I think I'd rather have a PS3. I have one and there's a lot of awesome games on it. I'll list some of my favorite just because why not. biggrin.gif

Sly Cooper series, inFamous, Gran Turismo 5, Red Dead Redemption, GTA 5, Fat Princess, LittleBigPlanet series and so many more. I know they aren't all PS3 exclusive but they're all some of my favorite games. smile.gif

Well I've said what I think, and others have voiced their opinions too.
