Just bought my PC. Now what? - Page 4

Well, you'll basically install your drivers, followed by using Internet Explorer to install another browser (Opera, Firefox, Chrome).

Once that is done, you can install Steam, Origin, UPlay, start installing games.

And as a tip, install the plugin "adblock plus" on your browser if you wish to get rid of ad's.

But raising the clock speed and voltages is the same process between the two and they provide the same results.

I just use MSI Afterburner now since my system has both Evga and Gigabyte GPU's. Precision only works for Evga

PrecisionX does not just work only with EVGA. It works with any Nvidia GPU on the market. And it is by far a better program than MSI Afterburner. FAR BETTER.

Also, Ghostery is the second best browser addon you can get. And Ninite is the single best website you can go to in order to download all of the utilities/common programs that you might need when starting out a new build.

I didn't know it worked with other GPU's. What makes it that much better though? I've used them evenly over the past 3 years and they both ultimately did the same thing. Neither caused problems. Just suggesting MSI Afterburner since that's what most people will be telling him.
