I had him try MSD. From what I know, that only effects sub menus (like after right-clicking the desktop, it dictates how quickly View> or Sort By> appear).

No, this only affects submenus when you pause on them. Try it for yourself. It does not affect how long it takes for a context menu to appear when you right-click.

Hey, glad you got rid of the problem & kudos to tmontney!

Curious though the linked article also mentioned the same registry location & Intel graphics specifically but in WinXP era (in section "Problems when you right-click an empty area in the Desktop"). Weird or quite disappointing that shellexview didn't show now.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\Background\shellex\ContextMenuHandlers

But most important is you got it fixed. smile.gif
