TBH it's pretty clear that the extra performance you get isn't really worth the cost of the card.
Not worth it at all.

Expected results. Thanks for taking the time to do this anyways, I'm sure someone will benefit from it. thumb.gif

Thank you for the heads up. Like others have said, it is expected but I thought Id see a bigger difference.

For somebody that doesn't OC, it the 770 would still give you a better performing card out of the box.

That's awesome that you were able to hit 1400+ mhz on your 770 though. Great performer.

thank you guys...

I sold my old gtx680 for 380 euro... and buy for the same money gtx770... new, with 3 years warranty... I think that is a good deal...
You did well then, they are almost the same card, but the 770s do clock memory better, not many of the 680s could manage 2000mhz memory.
Getting a newer model with full warranty for no extra $ is a bonus!

Well if you see it this way, $450 dollars that is how much it costs the 770 lightning, is way cheaper than the GTX 680 Lightning was when it came out over a year ago, I paid $650 with taxes, the 770 is relatively cheaper and is a better performer, even for just a little, higher is higher. in other words you can get a premium 680 for $450 Dollars.

The card is worth the money, for some people isnt worth the upgrade from 680 to 770
