Any 3570k or 4670k at 4.2Ghz or more will beat the 8350...JUST in this game
That's what I thought lol.

The CPU-needs situation is probably very distorted across tons of benchmarks lately. The reason for this is that nowadays (most) 3D engines do an extremely limited use of the CPU, at least before beginning rendering. Hence what we see as "CPU benchmarks" are probably "CPU + RAM + Chipset + PCI-E + .." and other such factors, meaning it might not be just the CPU affecting it in itself.

edit: Sorry, I meant "at least after beginning rendering"

240 posts and no one comes to the realization that the intentionally cripple a beta's performance to not give too much away?

No idea. Even poles may claim 64 and just bench a brief walk of 20 yards on the edge of the map. It is physically impossible to bench true gameplay across tenths of processors, collect statistically significant data and post them in such a short time frame-beta is very young. PCGH, the german one was just making a stroll around a hill in caspian border and HardOCP did something like that as well. I haven't ever seen a decent BF3 MP bench anywhere,I don't expect anything different now.

Just curious but it seems 770 users are having issues everywhere. Why only that card more so than the other 7xx cards? Just had a guy asking about FFreborn and I didn't want to tell him was definitely the card, but seeing a few guys in here complaining of the same thing.

My 770 is doing fine mate and that is before installing the 331.xx beta drivers. Has anyone had any issues with 770 sli setups?

Encouraging to see that the 8350 is doing well - I may consider a AM3+ for my next board thumb.gif

I am surprised to see so many people whining about the graphics already, considering its beta and most of what the people in question are saying is very subjective and vague. I for one think it is a leap ahead of bf3 with the tweaking of vehicle mechanics (choppers seem to gain altitude quicker); registering of hits (possibly better netcode or better Aussie severs) and the fire fights seem a little more competitive due to less suppression. This makes the game feel much more 'solid' when compared to BF3, just my opinion.

Good to see some nice benchmarks only after a couple of hours of beta!

I'm getting 60% CPU usage on my 3770k while playing, also my Titan drops quite frequently to 30/40's. mad.gif
