Besides new maps...Is there really anything within the BF4 beta that you have noticed that would really push someone over the edge to decide to go from BF3 to BF4?? I still feel there is alot of life left in BF3 and havent seen enough in BF4 to purchase it yet...

It's not really deniable since from a technical standpoint, 8350's cores individually are really weak compared to i5/i7 cores. It was just...made that way, can't really be argued tongue.gif

So game that doesn't make FULL use of ALL it's cores (e.g. Crysis 3) is going to see superior performance on an Intel i5/i7. Dunno why debates get so heated up when we see exactly the same pattern across 95% of games rolleyes.gif

When both chips are overclocked to 4.5ghz the difference becomes absolutely tiny, don't regret it.
i5 2500K was absolutely the gaming chip of it's time with no rival (actually it was considered overkill back then), we purchased it knowing it would last for years...and that's exactly what it has done and will continue to do smile.gif

Played 1 round.

Settings Ultra,
5760 x 1080
3 x Titan, Beta Drivers v331.40
4930k @ 4.5
64 players, SoS

3 sets of numbers.....

Min = 28, 27, 32
Max = 124, 70, 106
Avg = 55, 46, 52

The 27, 46, 70 #s were from the skyscraper crashing down on my head.

All in all not terrible, had some issues logging in on a few servers. The vehicle weapons appear weak at this time and the vehicle controls especially the helos don't seem very responsive.

I've been saying that for some time to those teasing with "lol you got an i7 while an i5 is better for games for the price". An i7 is extremely better on anything purely multithreaded. Besides, I don't even just play games, I often use pure multithreading, and especially when it's non-interactive (e.g. post-processing a video) it can use as many cores as it can get.
